Treatment
Through headache-info.no, Limiceph offers treatment digitally, wherever you are, or physically, at a clinic.
The treatment is tailored to your headache diagnosis, and can consist of both non-medical and medical measures.
The headache consultations are conducted by clinicians with a master’s degree in headache. Limiceph currently has a neurologist and a chiropractor available for you. We also offer specialized follow-up for concussions.
After a thorough initial consultation, we tailor a treatment to suit your diagnosis, situation, history and presentation. A lot of the treatment involves advice and guidance, both during attacks and to prevent your headaches.
If there is a need for medical measures, it is natural to involve your GP in the first instance, or your neurologist. We also have a neurologist in Asker with a master’s degree in headaches if you need a second opinion.
Once the diagnosis is clear and all necessary examinations have been carried out, advice and guidance can be provided digitally.
If there is a need for non-medical measures beyond advice, guidance and exercises, the treatment must be carried out physically, as it can typically involve manual treatment techniques such as trigger point treatment, stretching, mobilization and/or manipulation. We currently have one clinic in Asker that offers this.
