The Master’s degree in Headache at the University of Copenhagen is a comprehensive educational program designed to provide healthcare professionals with specialized expertise in headache disorders.
This program, which is the first of its kind in the world, was launched in 2016.
Typically, healthcare professionals such as neurologists, physiotherapists, dentists and nurses take this master’s degree.
In addition, two chiropractors, including Martin Herneblad-Due, have also completed this master’s degree.
The program is designed to educate specialists to the highest level in the assessment and treatment of all forms of headache and cranial pain.
This includes over 200 different headache diagnoses with relevant treatment methods.
The master’s program is carried out in collaboration with the Danish Headache Center, which is a world leader in headache diagnostics, treatment and research.
