Clinical course in headache for GPs – digital and physical

Headaches are among the most common causes of contact in general practice. GPs play a key role in identifying, diagnosing and following up on these patients – and with the right knowledge, many can get good help without the need for a referral.

This hybrid course is designed to give you as a GP increased security, structure and professional updating when dealing with headache patients – whether it concerns common diagnoses, red flags, assessment of diagnostic imaging, or preventive measures.

Our speakers

The course brings together several of the most important researchers and neurologists in the field of headache in Europe, as well as clinicians with great passion for headache knowledge:

• Rigmor Jensen – Professor and neurologist at the Danish Headache Center, one of the world’s leading experts on headache and medication overuse headache.
• Henrik Winther Schytz – Neurologist, award-winning researcher and president of the Danish Headache Society, with expertise in headache diagnostics and red flags.
• Zhilwan Gadan – Neurologist and senior consultant at Kalnes Hospital and Oslo Headache Center, with expertise in medical treatment of migraine and headache follow-up. Also affiliated with NEMUS Asker Sentrum and Limiceph.
• Casper Emil Christensen – Neurologist and researcher at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, with a PhD on migraine pathophysiology and extensive teaching experience.
• Lasse Kildevæld – Physiotherapist with a master’s degree in headache, certified in the Watson Headache Approach, with practical clinical experience in tension headache and cervicogenic headache.
• Andrea Berg – GP at Tranby Medical Center. Specialist in general medicine. Experience from general practice, nursing homes, health centers and psychiatric hospitals.
• Cathrine Herneblad-Due – Chiropractor at NEMUS Asker Sentrum. Master’s degree in headache, with specialization in women’s health.
• Martin Herneblad-Due – Chiropractor at NEMUS Asker Sentrum and founder of Limiceph, with a master’s degree in headache and broad expertise in diagnostics, treatment and prevention.
