Nesøyaklinikken

A private neurological clinic offering thorough assessment, treatment and follow-up for headaches, facial pain, jaw pain, dystonia and related disorders.

Run by neurologist Maja Villseth
Specialist in neurology (2014), senior consultant at Drammen Hospital, with specialist expertise in stroke, headache and botox treatment. Runs the clinic and has extensive experience of ultrasound and EMG-guided injections.

What it is:
A highly specialized medical center at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, established in 2001. DHC combines clinical expertise, research, teaching and national quality work within headache and facial pain. sst.dk.

Collaboration focus:

Quality assurance: Participation in the development of clinical guidelines, national quality databases and monitoring of treatment processes.
Education and courses: Access to international master’s programs, courses and professional training via DHC and the National Knowledge Center.
